Lesser Cockatoos have resembled greater Sulphur Cockatoos but are smaller and approximately 3-5 inch shorter in length. All the feathers on its body are totally white except the crest ( i call this a Crown ) that is yellow in colour. This species is famous among other Cockatoos if you google just “Cockatoos” you would see 70% of Yellow-Crested Cockatoos videos and images there. These are when kept as a pet, require a lot of affection and attention. It is highly suggested that they should be kept in a pair.Australia is the only place where maximum Cockatoo’s species are found naturally. Approximately twenty-one species exist only in Australia and the remaining seven species are found collectively in New Guinea, Philippines and in some islands of Indonesia. Sulphur Crested Cockatoos found naturally in the north and east of Australia, like Kimberley, Tasmania, Adelaide, Sydney, Canberra and also in Melbourne.
